Upon Affiliate approval we will send you an e-mail with a link, which you will need to append from your URL to ours. You can place that link with the unique string at the end of the URL on your site.
This way, once the customer from your site clicks this link, the customer gets on our site and the presence of that unique string is stored in a cookie on the customers browser for 30 consequent days. What this means is that even if the customer referred by you comes back on our site without the URL that you place on your site, for example just http://www.nudeprudelingerie.com, this persons cookie will still be recognized and in case of a purchase, you will be awarded your percentage as agreed by during registration.
Basically, once the person comes from your site, he or she will be your customer for the next 30 days after first visit. During the purchase process on our site, the customer is tracked to your site by the cookie that is stored on his or her browser. In case of the purchase, the cookie that stores your unique string is compared to our records in the database and matches your record (since no two affiliates have the same referral string). And this will enable our system to make sure that you, as the affiliate, get the percentage of the product total for the order placed.
You will be able to monitor this order in your section on our site (http://www.nudeprudelingerie.com/affiliates.cfm) by reviewing the orders list. The payments will be made in accordance with our terms and conditions.
Here is how to track the customers that come from your site to ours:
Once your Affiliate Account is active, you can go to http://www.nudeprudelingerie.com/affiliates.cfm and login using your email and password that you selected during registration. If you forget your password there is an option to click Forgot Your Password, and fill in your e-mail address and retrieve your password.
Once you log in you will be able to view the list of orders that came from customers whom you referred. By clicking the little icon next to each of the orders, you will be able to see the order details as well as your portion of the order subtotal. By using the navigational top menu you will be able to go back to the orders list, log off (in case you are done browsing your affiliated section of the site) or view your link.
